Morphology:
|
||||
Quadriflagellate colorless unicells, no cellulose cell walls. Stigma and other stigma-like granules often present. Two to four apical contractile vacuoles. Isogamous,fusion creates a planozygoe (flagellated) that undergoes meosis eventually forming four flagellated cells (Ibid.). |
